CO.E.M S.p.A., leader in the electromechanical field, with Factory and Headquarters at Catania, is a firm that for the last 30 years have been designing, manufacturing and selling factory equipped substations, SF6 and air insulated Ring Main Units and switches for the transformation and distribution of electric energy.
	The market served by CO.E.M S.p.A. is mainly constituted by productive activities working in the Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) compartments. In particular its main customers are: Public and private companies producers or distributors of electric energy, Italian and foreign. International suppliers either for electricity authorities or for other public/private societies. All that plants or buildings fed in MV.
CO.E.M. S.p.A., to satisfy the customers demands, allocate every year a large part of its capital budget to the research and development (R&D), upgrading of products/process and personnel qualification.

	Electrical and mechanical design activity is supported by innovative tools such as CAD-CAE software. The steel works are supported by modern CAM system for the automatic control of the CN production equipment.
